Rich in the Life Eternal

The poor of this world who have faith can wait and struggle on. Of Him in whom they believe it is said: “For He will deliver the needy when he crieth, and the poor, that hath no helper. He will have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy He will save. He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence; and precious will their blood be in His sight.” The kingdom of Christ is eternal. It reaches beyond this poor life to the life eternal. Better to be poor here and rich there than have all things here and be found naked in the judgment.
