God’s Word, Not Man’s Opinion

The truth is not to be determined by our mortal picture of what we think ought to be, expecting that God's Word must be interpreted to fill out that picture. Such will ever lead to the misunderstanding and perversion of His Word. Our business is to form our conception from the portrayal of the divine Word. God's Word, not man's opinion, is what we should seek after.
