Oldest Bell in the United States Found

The oldest bell in the United States has been found in a Newport, Rhode Island, church. It is dated 1702, and bears an inscription showing it to have been presented by Queen Anne of England to the Trinity church, under the stage of the guild of which it was found. It stands three feet high, and is made of copper and silver.
