The Roman Curia

The Roman Curia.— We call attention to an article in another column from the pen of one who was once a strong, stalwart Roman Catholic, and a warm friend of the late Cardinal Manning, of England. When Montagu saw that the plan of the Papacy was to subjugate and humble England, his strong love for his country and for justice compelled him to break from the Roman Catholic Church and warn his fellow countrymen. This he did in a series of letters to the London Times a third of a century ago. These letters were afterward placed in book form. The description of the Roman Curia speaks for itself.
