The Sunday Law and Conversion

If the proponents of the Sunday law would use one half the energy and zeal to convert souls to Christ they are using to secure civil enactment for religious dogma, they would secure greater and better results. They are putting man in the place of God in enforced religious dogma, and are thus interposing humanity between the soul and its Saviour. Why do they not see this?
