Three Standard-Bearers Fallen.—

We note the recent death of three tried standard-bearers in the message,—Gardner Kellogg Owen, who died in India October 18, 1912, at Lucknow, at the age of seventy-four; Horace W. Lawrence of West Bangor, New York, who died January 25, 1913, at the age of eighty-four; and George W. Amadon (under whom the editor of the SIGNS learned typesetting), who died February 24, 1913, at St. Joseph, Michigan, at the age of eighty. These three brethren fell in the harness—devoted, earnest, respected, faithful to the end. We can only hope that others equally true may take their place.
