Unselfish Love

FORTUNATE and blest is he or she whose motives are always prompted by unselfish love to God and man.
However foreign it may be to our own natural inclination, unselfish love should be the only motive prompting each and every act of our lives.
It was this unselfish love in our heavenly Father and His Son that led Them to make the sacrifice that They did, for Their creatures who had gone astray.
This same love in our hearts is alone that which can fit us for the courts of heaven and the society of angels that have never sinned.
Unselfish love is the only thing that can insure to us eternal life and happiness on the earth redeemed, and is in reality the only thing that can insure happiness in this present world. J. W. Lowe.
