Sunday Legislation in New York

A new element has come into the Sunday legislation in New York State. Majority Leader Levi's bill, permitting secular labor and business on Sunday, is before the legislature. This was amended in the assembly, February 19, by the addition of a section providing that nothing in the bill shall be construed to admit of business or labor for more than six days in the week. It will probably result in a Sunday law, after all.
