California’s Petroleum Production

It is of interest to our readers, we are sure, to know that California produced one fourth of all the petroleum of the world last year. The world's production for 1912 was 350,000,000 barrels, an increase of 12,500,000 barrels over the previous year. Of this the United States produced 60 per cent. The production in the state of California was about 90,000,000 barrels.
