“Give me a proof of the inspiration of the Bible,” said the skeptical Frederick the Great to his court chaplain. “Sire, the Jews,” sententiously responded the preacher. The multiplied predictions regarding the Jews, from Moses to New Testament times, constitute a mass of evidence which can not be set aside. All their faithfulness and prosperity, all their disobedience and calamities, are mighty witnesses of the Word which came to us through that nation.
