Socialism in Germany.—

From the London Times we gather that the first ballots in the elections for the Saxon and Baden Diets, held on October 21, show an enormous Socialist increase, and these successes have been followed by a further Socialist victory in the Koburg by-election for the Reichstag. So also in Berlin the Socialists have been victorious in several divisions; indicating that there will be a substantial increase in the future composition of the German Parliament.
