The Time Foretold

We have indeed come to the time foreseen by our Lord, who as He looked forward to the last generation that should live before His appearing, said: “Nevertheless when the Son of Man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8.

THE SPIRIT OF HIGHER CRITICISM: And what remains of the Bible, Beloved, is divinely inspired.

We have reached the day when men will not endure sound doctrine, but have heaped to themselves teachers, having itching ears. 2 Tim. 4:1-4.

We have reached the time when men are being turned away from the truth and are turning to fables. We have come to the period when in a larger sense than ever before men have made void the law of God, and the prayer of the psalmist is now due from the heart and lips of every true Christian: “It is time for Thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void Thy law.” Ps. 119:126.
