“Anti-Saloon League Year Book for 1909.”

Bound in Manila, 50 cents; cloth, 60 cents. This is the regular official year book of the Anti-Saloon League of America, bringing down facts, figures, maps, and charts to January 1, 1909. It is compiled and edited by Ernest Hearst Cherrington, managing editor of the Anti-Saloon Press Bureau, and associate editor of The American Issue. Many portraits are given of noted men connected with the Anti-Saloon League. Maps showing just what progress has been made in county option and prohibition up to the present time, what has been done in the various states and territories throughout the country, facts and figures in regard to the manufacture of liquor of various kinds, taxes paid, United States drink bill, and a great many other facts and figures in the great question of temperance, are given in this year book. There are 256 pages, closely packed with very important facts, with a copious index, making these facts easily accessible. Surely it would seem as tho every temperance worker would wish the book.
