A Mistake.

We published an item some time ago stating that according to a news despatch, Missouri had passed a law demanding that Christian Scientists procure a license in order to practise in that state. The Christian Science Committee on Publication for Northern California denied this, and say that it is owing to some overzealous reporter, and that no such legislation as that has been passed by Missouri. While we have no faith in Christian Science at all, if people wish to take that kind of treatment they ought to have the right to do it. This is not a matter of endorsement of the treatment, or of Christian Science, but simply of human right.
