This little work consists of four addresses given by the author before a London club, suggested by a visit to the Holy Land the year previous. These four addresses cover a description of Bethlehem, or the Birth of Christ; Nazareth, or the Life of Christ; Capernaum, or the Work of Christ; and Jerusalem, or the Death of Christ, with the various surroundings of these places. The stories are interestingly told, devout, Christian, helpful. One is brought nearer to the personal Saviour by reading it.
