Is It Not Worth While?

THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES gives in the course of a year 800 pages, of which 700 pages at least are instructive, edifying, uplifting, beneficial to any individual or family. These 700 pages are equal to at least 2,800 pages of an ordinary book, equal to seven volumes of 400 pages each. These volumes would cost, from one dollar to two dollars each, and contain no better matter than the paper contains. Yet for all this the SIGNS OF THE TIMES, coming fresh every week, costs but $1.50. Is it not worth while, and can not our subscribers and friends help their neighbors to see that it is worth while, to subscribe for a paper which gives so much information at so low a price? There are but few families comparatively that take religious papers. There are but few of the many that do not take religious papers, that would not subscribe for one or read one if the need were properly presented. That paper coming fresh every week, telling the family of God's goodness and kindness and mercy, pointing out the better way of righteousness, giving suggestions in the home life, telling of the developments in far-off mission fields, might prove the salvation of the family, both physically and spiritually. What are you doing to help your neighbors? They may be anxious to obtain such a paper as that if you would present it before them.
