Cigarets

Cigarets.—We have received from the State Agricultural College, Manhattan, Kansas, “Home Training Bulletin No. 1” on the cigaret-smoking boy, by Prof. Wm. A. McKeever. This little tract of twelve pages contains very many things which should be of interest to parents and teachers; all, in fact, engaged in the bringing up of boys. The writer of the Bulletin has made a study of 2,500 cigaret-smoking schoolboys, and he gives diagrams to show how weak their hearts are, and other data indicating the mental, moral, and physical debility of such boys. Other bulletins along the same line are issued by the above college. These bulletins may be secured at one cent a copy. They certainly contain information which should be widely distributed.
