Reading the Bible.

The Western Watchman (Roman Catholic), of August 5, has this note: “From all the Protestant colleges comes the doleful announcement that the Bible is not read any more by the students. The public press reechoes the statement, and asks: ‘Who reads the Bible now?’ And doubtless this is all true in many institutions of learning; but there are many still who read the Bible, who are loyal to the Old Book; who have tried it, proved it, know it to be the deepest, purest, sweetest, most responsive fountain of knowledge in the world. No, Watchman, there are Bible readers still. Let it not be forgotten.”
