The Responsibility of Blessings

WHEN a young man finishes a course in college, we naturally ask, What is he going to do? If he has made special study of a certain line, we ask, Where will he practise? It is expected that he will make use of his education. If one inherits means or acquires wealth, we ask, What is he doing with it? As with the mental asset, so with the monetary, it is expected that it will be put to some use. And it does not stop here. When one receives blessings from God, he is in duty bound to impart to others; and the greater the blessing, the greater the responsibility. “To whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required.” H.
