Revised Tariff Measures Draw Criticism

Mr. Taft has placed his signature upon the revised tariff measures for both this country and the Philippines. Neither one of the measures gives anything like satisfaction anywhere. They are compromise measures, and we do not know of any journals which are finding more fault about it than are the Republican journals. It will practically leave the consumer just where he was before.
