British Matters in India

Despatches from London inform us that a British official was murdered by an East Indian student. The news seems to indicate that the student is a typical representative of the way the great masses in India feel toward the British Government. On the other hand an indignation meeting has been held by Indian residents in London to protest against that murder. Taking a broad view of it, however, there are certain indications that British matters in India are not as smooth as they might be. These things will be considered in future articles of the SIGNS OF THE TIMES.
