Disorders on Morocco’s Riff Coast

The reigning Sultan of Morocco has become so weak in his rule as to be unable to prevent disorders in his realm. The difficulties are in the main confined to the Riff Coast, on the Mediterranean, west of Gibraltar. The result of the affair will be probably the extension of the Spanish power in Morocco, and the coast of Melilla to Ceuta will be occupied by Spanish troops.
