Poodles and Babies in Boston

Mrs. Charlotte Smith, a social worker of Boston, is authority for the statement that the idol of many homes in that city is a poodle dog, and they range in price from $100 to $1,000. She says that babies are being sold in the same city for from $2 to $10 each, depending on whether they are blondes or brunettes. If Boston were the only place where the “poodle dog” has taken the affections away from the baby, it would not be so bad.
