We conclude in this week's reading 1 Samuel, with the sad account of the death of Saul, who followed the instruction of the spiritualist medium, the woman with the familiar spirit. However familiar one is with the story, its reading always brings a sad feeling of regret that one so strong and noble in his youth should come to such a miserable end. Our Sabbath reading has three beautiful and instructive psalms, 24, 25, 26.
