Extravagance

A New York paper has a cartoon of a great, precipitous rock named “Extravagance,” at the foot of which is a sea swarming with sharks. Down the sheer cliffs men and women are tumbling, to be food for the monsters. Underneath is the forceful warning: “If you fall off the cliff, remember that you have been warned many times. When you slip down the precipice of Extravagance, the sharks are waiting for you in the Ocean of Ruin, and it is then too late to save yourself.”
