“Dear Sirs: I have just picked up a copy of the SIGNS OF THE TIMES. It is dated Oct. 16, 1907, and is the first copy I have seen of that paper. I have learned something from its columns, even if it is a back number. I am a mountain preacher, and am not aware that the paper is still being published. I notice this one says: ‘Sample copies sent on application.’ So please send me one or two sample copies, and if I like them as well as I do this, I will soon be one of your subscribers.”
