Excavations at Ancient Adria

Near the city of Adria, Italy, excavations are being made on the site of the ancient Adria, the sea-port which gave its name to the Adriatic Sea. The work of exhuming the buried city is in charge of a commission which includes the most celebrated archeologists of Italy, and it is expected that archeological treasures of the greatest importance will be discovered.
