Not many years ago it was predicted by a prominent W. C. T. U. woman that a theocracy was to come into the world through the “gateway of politics.” National Reformers are working to this very end. All these futile and mischievous efforts are based on a wrong conception of what a true theocracy is as set before us in the word of God. It is therefore important to become informed upon it. To assist our readers we have solicited the contribution, “The Theocracy of Israel,” on another page, from Mr. George E. Langdon, read and warmly approved at a religious liberty meeting in Washington, D. C., May 17, 1909.
