The Day’s Record.

There is nothing hidden or mysterious about a true record; it is just the account of transactions. Naturally if the transactions are honest and fair, the inspection of the record will cause no uneasiness; it is equally natural that the record of dishonesty brings shame when examined. The serious point is that every one has the making of his own record; every one is individually responsible. God has made all men free to choose, but He keeps a record, and according to that record is the reward, “for God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
