Recanted

Recanted.— The Woman’s National Daily, in a despatch from Chicago, April 12, tells us that the “Rev. F. E. J. Lloyd, the Episcopal minister who embraced the Roman Catholic faith two years ago, has recanted and returned to the Episcopal Church. To-day he began a three years’ service as a ‘penitent layman’ in order to acquire the right to officiate as an ordained minister again.” During the time that he was a Catholic he delivered a series of lectures over the country on “Why I Became a Roman Catholic.” He ought to go over the same ground and tell the people how he made his mistake.
