By Beholding We Become Changed

HUMANITY is too much encompassed with infirmity, and therefore it is not best for us to look much to the faults of others. In this as elsewhere, by beholding we become changed. We become like that which we are constantly considering. As a man thinks so he is, and we are certain to think of the things we are always looking at. The future of each one of us is in the hand of God; let us put our confidence in Him, and gladly follow on in the way of His choosing.
