Hieroglyphic Record of the Seven Years of Famine

“The ‘Egyptian Gazette,’ published in Alexandria, Egypt, tells of the discovery and deciphering by Professor Brugsch of the hieroglyphic record of the ‘Seven Years of Famine,’ mentioned in Genesis. The date is 1700 B.C., the exact year mentioned in the Bible. Thus every new discovery routs the so-called Higher Critics and confirms faith in the old Book.”
