Impure Milk

“Two dead, two dying, and two others dangerously ill as a result of drinking milk from a sick cow,” is the tenor of a news note in the papers a few days since. All were stricken immediately after drinking the milk. Doctors were called, but could do but little. The increasing frequency of such cases will surely put every user of milk on guard. Cows apparently well are often affected; the only sure way to know is to have the milk analyzed. The milk of one diseased cow in a herd will of course infect the milk of all.
