We regret to chronicle the death of Hon. John J. Wyatt, California Assemblyman, who died at Salinas, March 21, at the age of 40. He was considered one of the best constitutional lawyers in the state, and was a devoted champion of religious liberty. One of the strongest speeches made two years ago against the Sunday law was by Mr. Wyatt. Such men as he are needed.
