True Nobility

That true nobility is based neither on birth nor wealth was demonstrated in Paris just recently. The Countess De La Pommiere was found in a squalid dwelling recently, besieged by rats and half insane. She needed not to live there, for she seemed to have abundance of money. In fact, the rats themselves had eaten $30,000 in bank notes and securities. True nobility is the nobility of goodness, self-sacrifice, and helpfulness of others.
