Princess Beatrice and the King of Portugal

A Catholic paper remarks that there may be a prospect of Princess Beatrice of England uniting in marriage with the young king of Portugal. The paper remarks that the difficulty of difference in religion has been removed, the daughters and nieces of English kings take to Catholicity like ducks to water. The Orangemen are becoming alarmed, but the average Briton is saying: “Who cares?” And that is about the way it is.
