Memorial Opposing Sunday Laws

We have received a “Memorial” to the Honorable Committee of Judiciary of the Connecticut Legislature. The memorial in a very respectful way protests against the union of church and state in all its various ramifications especially manifest in Sunday laws; and pleads that the Legislature would wipe out every statute which is contrary to true religious liberty.
