Catholics and the Presidential Cabinet

The “Western Watchman” remarks: “Mr. Taft is taking his time selecting his cabinet. Wonder if he will find a place for a Catholic? We are not very much interested one way or the other; but where Catholics form one third of the Christians of the country, it is a strange freak of chance that they should miss out in seven trials, and do it once every four years.” The Watchman must be forgetful. Surely they have been remembered in Mr. Roosevelt’s cabinet.
