Rising Divorce Rate in America

A recent report of the Census Bureau of the United States just issued, declares that of all the couples married in a given year in America, one in twelve are ultimately divorced. In no other civilized nation in the world is there so large a proportion of divorces, either to the population, or to the number of marriages, and the difficulty is increasing rather than decreasing.
