Our Lesson.

WHEN we're tired and worn at evening With the cares of busy day, And the weary world is resting, And the fitful shadows play, Then it is we count the blessings From our heavenly Father's hand, And we learn each day some lesson, If His will we understand.
All our trying daily crosses, All our toil and pain and care, Are but lessons that will teach us How the weight of life to bear. May we look on all as blessings Given by the Father's hand, That will lead us on life's pathway To a purer, better land.
MINNIE OTTERSTEIN.
