Russia’s Burglars’ Gazette

Among the trades papers published in Russia is a burglars' gazette. That is not its open name. It is called The Barefooted Gazette, an allusion to the stealthy ways, perhaps, of its readers. It contains full reports of the latest thefts, burglaries, all kinds of things to incite to burglary and help those who would pursue the craft. It is published in secrecy, and the police have not yet found the office from which it is issued.
