Bank Combinations

Bank combinations are becoming more common, due to the feeling that a greater security of capital would be obtained by combining. Several have been noted in the United States recently, and a report from Germany states that two of the largest banks in that country have combined, bringing together a capital of $71,000,000, and making one of the strongest combinations of banking capital in the world. This movement is in harmony with the general trend of the world toward combinations and confederacies, which was to be a characteristic of the last days.
