Yellow Fever Ravages Mexico

The yellow fever continues its ravages in Mexico. Every town between Monterey and Laredo is reported to be affected, and the report states that the scourge is beyond control. It is estimated that the loss of business in Monterey alone as a result of the scourge is over $2,000,000. People are panic-stricken, and all who can do so are fleeing from the infected towns.
