GOOD NEWS FROM KEENE.

Referring to our illustration of Keene Industrial Academy, Prof. C. B. Hughes writes that “about seventeen thousand dollars of the academy debt has been paid, leaving about three thousand dollars yet due. All the conferences of the Southwestern Union Conference are now entering upon the closing campaign, and we are hoping soon to be able to sing the jubilee song of freedom from debt.” We are glad to hear that the institution is so near to the standard of “owe no man anything,” as its usefulness and good influence, now so extensively recognized in the Southwest, will thereby be greatly enhanced. We will gladly join in their “song of jubilee,” when the glad day dawns.
