It Is Correct.

The Gospel Trumpet, in response to a question as to whether it were a sin to sell milk, butter, etc., on Sunday, just to favor people, thus speaks in part:—
It certainly would be no sin against God, for He has nowhere told us in His Word not to do this, or anything similar, on Sunday, or to regard that day as morally different from any other day of the week. The laws of our land, on the other hand, following the example of the Ten Commandments, which were divinely given for the moral government of, not a spiritual, but a fleshly, people, forbid the regular pursuit of business not deemed necessary to be done on Sunday. Where obedience to the laws of our land does not lead us to disobey a law of God to us, we should obey them. There are many earnest people whose zeal is not according to knowledge, who are going about striving to establish laws concerning Sunday, framed from the standpoint of the fourth commandment which only and always refers to Saturday. “The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God; in it thou shalt not do any work.” Ex. 20: 10.
Now this is absolutely true as regards the Bible and Sunday. The Bible gives no support to the Sunday Sabbath. But the Trumpet is wrong when it declares that Sunday laws in our land follow the example of the Ten Commandments. All civil Sunday laws have their root in paganism. Perverted Christianity has continued and fostered them; but the Decalogue has naught to do with them.
