Christian Community of Property

We believe in Christian community of property, as manifest in apostolic times; but that manifestation was not a fruit of politics or of legislation, but the fruit of the Spirit, moved by which, every man devoted his own property, not his neighbor’s, to the good of all. He had, also, the same power to withhold it. Those who truly acted, did so, not as members of a commonwealth, but as stewards of God.
