The Right Kind of Conversion.

An item of missionary news tells of a Chinese who had long been convinced of his duty to yield to Christ, but his poppy field, cultivated for opium, stood in the way. Finally, this year, after planting his field, he gave himself to God, took the harrow, and tore out his poppy field. That is the right kind of religion to have. Even so the Gospel affected the believing Ephesians, who burnt their books of magic. See Acts 19. So it will be with any who are possessed of idols.
