Honesty in Business

“A false balance is abomination to the Lord; but a just weight is His delight.” Prov. 11:1. This idea was one of the first impressions that came to the mind of a Chinese convert to Christianity. He was a pottery manufacturer at Yuen-chan, and used false balances in buying materials for his work. But on experiencing a change of heart, he immediately corrected his purchasing scales. This is the true Christian principle. It is he that not only confesses but forsaketh his sins that finds mercy. Prov. 28:13.
