The Lord did not say, When ye see these things begin to come to pass, know ye that He is nigh, even at the doors. That sentence is compounded of two statements of our Saviour’s. He said, “When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” And again He said, “When ye shall see ALL these things, know that He is near, even at the doors.” The beginning of the fulfilment of the signs was not given as a sign that the Lord’s coming was “even at the doors,” or within a generation.
