The Minister Needed Today

The minister needed to-day is not a man who will simply preach good things, but a man with a mission and a message. He will feel that God has called him to his work; that he has a mission for God; that God has sent him on a mission; and that he has God's message to speak. That message will ring clear and definite, sent home by the living Word. There will be no compromise with sin, no shading of the strong things of the Gospel. He will preach the message which God bids him and as God bids him, and souls will be saved.
